It’s an issue for a number of modern cars, this little pouch aims to reduce that risk. To be fair it works very well, if my key is in the pouch and in the car, the car doesn’t recognise it. It could do with being ever so slightly bigger, but my key fits if very snug.

These are really good and they work. They were recommended by the Police in our area as there had been a lot of car thefts recently. I keep one in my hand bag for when I’m out and about and one indoors so my car key signal cannot be picked up by anyone outside my house. You really do have to take it out of the pouch for the car key to open the car door even if holding pouch in your hand. I thoroughly recommend these Faraday Pouches.

Only comment is that it is only just big enough to take one fob and the attached key ring. Accepting it is a ‘mini’ a little more give would be useful, I don’t think my fob is unusually large.

I was skeptical when ordering the defender key mini faraday pouches at first but i decided to give them a go after reading the positive comments.
The pouches just arrived and you can stand next to the car and keyless entry is blocked and also while the key is inside the pouch it will not let you start the car either.
I’m really impressed as they were cheaper than most other places too. Thank you.

Purchased these in February 2023 lovely pouch and good quality and we have used it ever since but unfortunately it has now stopped blocking the signal and I can now open and start my car with it still in the pouch. There was no mention of this on the website. So be aware that they obviously do wear out with time maybe check after a year and purchase a new one if necessary.

Works well, but only lasted about 1 year. Don’t know how long it had stopped working before I noticed. My wife keeps hers in her handbag and it is perfect nick. I keep mine in my pocket and it started to show signs of wear. Lesson learnt, periodically check that it is still working. These are cheap, but good products. Replacing them regularly is worth it, better than having your car stolen.
